No Charges In Roxton Shooting

The Lamar County grand jury has no-billed the fatal shooting of 34-year-old Justin Lloyd Springer of Roxton and no charges will be filed in the case. Springer, the son of Lamar County Chief Deputy Jeff Springer, was shot in January after an altercation at a relative’s home and died later at a Dallas hospital. Texas Rangers handled the investigation into the incident.
