Annie Sims Cinco de Mayo

Annie Sims Elementary School 4th Grade teacher Angelica Rodriguez’s dual language class gave a presentation into the importance of Cinco de Mayo and some of the culture surrounding it. Some students wore authentic Mexican dresses, and some wore chaps and sombreros worn by Caballeros. Each student had to research a different aspect of the culture then recite their findings in English and Spanish.
