Appellate Court Upholds ET Murder Convictioin

The 12^th Court of Appeals in Tyler has upheld the murder conviction and sentence of an East Texas woman. The court sentenced 56-year-old Danna Lynn Busby, of Ben Wheeler, to 30 years in prison for the murder of 54-year-old Wendell Eric Harris, of Brownsboro, in 2016. Busby told police she shot Harris because she feared for the life of her daughter.
