Randy Lynn Webb Hopkins County sentenced 35-year-old Randy Lynn Webb, of Sulphur Springs, to ten months in state jail. He had been arrested in December on College Street for Possession of less than one gram of a Controlled Substance.

An East Texas school district is canceling classes on all of its campuses today because of a high number of absences due to illness. Elysian Fields ISD said maintenance crews will be sanitizing all campuses and buses on Friday. Classes will resume Tuesday after the Martin Luther King, Jr., Holiday.
