Ada Man Held In Homicide

An Ada man is being held in the Pontotoc County Jail for killing a man Wednesday during an argument in Latta. Authorities charged 32-year-old K.C. Cole with first-degree manslaughter and shooting with intent to kill. The victim has not been publicly identified.

Two female Leonard High School students are suspended from school after allegedly circulating a list titled “34 people to kill.” The letter was reportedly done as a joke but was taken very seriously by school officials as well as students. The Leonard PD and the FBI were notified.

A Lamar County Constable arrested 25-year-old Travis Nicholas Tambunga on warrants for Evading Arrest, Theft of a Firearm, and Burglary of a Vehicle. The burglary had allegedly occurred in Reno. His bonds were set at a total of $6000.
