McAlister Man Drowns Swimming After His Boat

  A 66-year-old McAlister man drowned while swimming after his boat as it was floating away on Lake Eufaula. James Cosper was loading his boat at a boat ramp when it began to drift away. He then jumped into the lake and disappeared underwater trying to retrieve the boat.
