Inmate Back In Custody After Escaping From Oklahoma Prison

  A convicted burglar and sex offender who escaped from an Oklahoma state prison near Stringtown at about 1:30 Wednesday morning is back in custody. Officials located 34-year-old Johnny Simmons around 5:30 yesterday afternoon in Coleman, about 37 miles away, and arrested.

  A new ordinance has been unanimously approved by the Paris City Council governing how landlords must maintain rental properties.
