  Lamar County authorities say a man reported missing since last Thursday has been found safe. James Finch had phoned his girlfriend and said he was on his way home after hanging out with friends, but had apparently gone somewhere else. No other information was released.

  Paris Police responded to the 4500 block of Thomas Drive after receiving a burglary of a vehicle complaint. Officers were told that an unknown suspect had entered the complainant’s vehicle and took a 9mm handgun and some change. The investigation is ongoing.
