Avinger Woman Jailed On Warrants

A 34-year-old Avinger woman was arrested in Gregg County over the weekend on warrants from two East Texas counties. Christi Witt Barton was is awaiting bond on a  Marion County warrant of theft of property worth between $1,500 and $20,000. She was also charged on an Upshur County warrant for bond forfeiture related to a DWI charge. Her new bond on that offense was set at $10,000.
