CARES Act Providing New Services For Intellectually Impaired Students

Intellectually impaired students in Texas are now eligible for up to $1500 in supplemental special education services thanks to $30-million from the Federal Cares Act. The TEA says the program will help connect Texas families to high-quality, personalized services. Parents can use the money to select needed assistance from a list of providers vetted by the TEA.
