Cass County Capital Murder Indictments For Double Murder

A Cass County grand jury indicted two men in connection with the disappearance of a man and woman. They charged 29-year-old Kevin Shepard, Atlanta, and 50-year-old Gary Shepard, of Bivins, with Capital Murder. The charges stem from the disappearance of Donnie Combs and Cynthia Arnold. They went missing in September of 2018, and officials have not found their bodies. Investigators believe the Shepards targeted the couple because Combs would testify against one of them in a felony theft trial.
