North Texas Killer Executed

Texas has executed Jedidiah Isaac Murphy for murdering an elderly Garland woman. Court documents show that Murphy carjacked the vehicle of 80-year-old Bertie Lee Cunningham, threw her in the trunk of her car, and shot her. He then drove to Van Zandt County and drowned her.
