Choctaw County Declares “Safer-At-Home”

Choctaw County is under a “Safer at Home” declaration after reporting its first case of COVID-19. Sheriff Terry Park said the crux of the declaration is that restaurant dining rooms will be closed, although they can still offer drive-thru and curb service. Health and fitness clubs and theaters are closed, but roads will remain open, as will groceries and gas stations.
