A Collin County man convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child has been sentenced to 45 years in prison. Court documents say 45-year-old Augusto Carrera knew the family of the victim, who was a 14-year-old girl with developmental issues. The assaults occurred during a two year period. Carrera will not become eligible for parole.
