Correction – Motorcyclist Killed In Quinlan Crash

They identify the victim as 29-year-old Robert Patrick Smith

The DPS has identified the motorcyclist killed in a Hunt County wreck as 29-year-old Robert Smith of Quinlan. Smith was driving south on FM 751, and 35-year-old Eric Velasquez, also of Quinlan, was in his SUV northbound. Velasquez reportedly failed to yield the right of way while turning left, and Smith’s motorcycle struck him. Smith died at the scene, and they arrested Velasquez for DWI.
