Death Penalty Won’t Be Sought Against Man Charged With Murdering Two Dentists

Smith County prosecutors have decided not to seek the death penalty for a Tyler man accused of killing two dentists when he became angry over his dentures. Smith County indicted 41-year-old Steven Alexander Smith on a capital murder of multiple persons charge in connection with the incident.
