Downtown Longview Goes Lights Out

As of noon Wednesday, downtown Longview businesses were without power. SWEPCO had restored nearly 5,000 customers, and crews were working on another 1,000. SWEPCO reported that close to 6,000 customers had no power in the Longview area at 11:30 am. Police reported a power line down at W. Marshall and Gilmer Road.
