Dozens Of Texas Counties May Violate Voting Rights

The ACLU says 69 Texas Counties could violate the Voting Rights Act. That’s because these counties don’t have election and voting information in English and Spanish. In some counties, they base translations on inaccurate automated translation services. Counties with more than 10,000 Spanish speakers or if Hanpics make up more than five percent of the voting population, both languages should provide accurate information.
