Early Voting Begins Today Including NL Bond Issue

Early voting for the May 7th Municipal elections begins today and will run through May 3. Texans will be voting for city council seats, school boards and in some locations, bond elections will be on the ballots.  In Lamar County, there are contested races for the PJC Board of Regents, North Lamar ISD Trustees and Prairiland ISD trustees.  The North Lamar ISD has a $56 million bond issue on the ballot.  The Paris ISD, Chisum ISD and Roxtin ISD have no contested races and the elections have been cancelled. District 6 on for the Paris City Council is contested.
