East Texas County Singer Seriously Injured

The family of East Texas musician Cody Wayne is asking for prayers as Wayne sustained injuries in a tractor accident Wednesday, and they flew him to a hospital for emergency surgery. Wayne grew up in rural Rusk County. Wayne has received multiple music awards and has shared the stage with artists like Cody Johnson, Aaron Watson, Neal McCoy, Trace Atkins, Whiskey Myers, Gene Watson, Eli Young, and others. The Titus County Fair had scheduled him to perform Thursday.
