East Texas Firefighters Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Charges

A court sentenced a former East Texas firefighter to 18 years in prison for downloading an estimated 278 images of child pornography while on duty. Reportedly, 25-year-old Silas Franks, of Terrell, pleaded guilty to seven counts of possession of child pornography with the intent to promote. Franks is a former member of Emergency Services District 2 and the Red Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
