East Texas Man Sentenced For Indecency

A 62-year-old East Texas man has been sentenced to ten years in prison after officials said he inappropriately touched a six-year-old child multiple times. Roy Lynn Avance of Kilgore had been indicted on two counts of indecency with a child. In addition to his prison sentence, he must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
