East Texas Power Outages Caused by Winter Storm

East Texas utility providers responded to thousands of customers without power because of the current winter weather. Communities along and north of the Interstate 20 corridor had ice accumulation in trees and along fence lines. SWEPCO reported that at one time, 4,701 customers in Franklin, Titus, Wood, and Upshur counties were without electricity.
