A 425-Mile Yard Sale

The Red River Valley Tourism Association (RRVTA) invites you to this year’s regional event, the US Hwy 82/287 Yard Sale! In the Red River Valley area, Saturday and Sunday (Jun 2-3) it is the yard sales, garage sales, sidewalk sales, farmer’s markets, and flea markets. All located within participating communities covering 425 miles of Highway 82 and 287 corridors and beyond! From New Boston in the east to Seymour in the west, south to Henrietta and north to Quanah and points in between, you are sure to find lots of treasures.

HOW IT WORKS: Along the way, participating towns will have maps available guiding shoppers to the individual sales throughout their communities. Some towns will have yard sales set up at a central location, while others may have them spread throughout the city. Still, others will showcase their downtown merchants or their flea markets/trade days. In most communities, we DO NOT set-up along the highway unless someone has a residence or business and does it privately.
