Saturday, October 2, it’s the James A Dawson Golf Tournament benefiting the North Lamar Education Foundation. It’s at the Paris Golf and Country Club. Tee time is 9:30. It’s a four-person scramble at $400 per team and $100 for individuals: the longest drive, men and women, and a closest to the hole contest. There will also be a putting contest at 8:30.
