Red River County Genealogical Society

The monthly meeting of the Red River County Genealogical Society is on Monday night, June 10, at 7:00, at the Chamber of Commerce meeting room.  This month’s speaker is Mr. Frank Stubblefield of Bogata. Mr. Stubblefield, aged 92, is a veteran of World War II and will speak on Honor Flights. Non-profit organizations transport as many United States military veterans as possible to see the memorials of the respective war they fought in Washington, DC, at no cost to the veterans.  He was privileged to be on the 43rd Honor Flight and among other veterans who served our country.  He will outline why these flights were set up and will recall some of his experiences on that flight.

The society is privileged to have him do this presentation. We invite everyone to enjoy this informative program.
