Excessive Force Lawsuit Filed Against Texarkana PD

The Texarkana Texas Police Department says in a press release that it is investigating the use of force incident by an officer against a 17-year-old. A federal Civil Rights lawsuit alleges that an officer dispatched to a disturbance, on January 27, put the teen in a choke hold and discharged a mace gun to his head, hitting him in the eye. The youth was allegedly blinded in his left eye.
