Fannin County Grand Jury Issues Indictments

So far, Fannin County’s grand jury indicted seven people for allegedly attempting to smuggle marijuana and cell phone equipment into a state prison. The drugs and phones were accidentally brought to a Bonham elementary school and found hidden in a bread truck. The next stop was supposed to be the Telford Prison Unit in New Boston. Those indicted are Tony Kinnard, Devondric Smith, Kenard Smith, Excelcer Colbert, Ernest Gabriel, Erica Miller and Gail Lynette Smith-Crowe. More suspects remain at large. No hometowns were available.
