Festival Of Paris WILL Go on Saturday October 24, 9am-5pm

On October 24th Downtown Paris, Texas will come alive with its 20th annual Festival of Pumpkins. There will be over 40 vendors, kids’ games, pumpkin decorating and costume contests, musical entertainment, food trucks and more.

The City of Paris is taking measures to ensure this annual tradition is both fun and safe, but everyone needs to do their part. Those attending are strongly encouraged to wear a mask, sanitize their hands frequently, be mindful of social distancing, and take responsibility for the safety of themselves and those around them. Please stay at home if you do not feel well or are at high risk. This is a community event, and the organizers understand it will take everyone’s help to make it a success.

Games will be spread out around the festival grounds to minimize crowding, and extra sanitizing procedures will be employed to game equipment and prize distribution. In addition there will be a crew circulating the downtown area throughout the event sanitizing restrooms and all high touch surfaces. All volunteers, vendors and City employees will be required to wear masks.

For the past 19 years the Festival of Pumpkins has helped make Downtown Paris a destination location, and with these additional safety protocols it will be able to safely celebrate its 20th anniversary milestone.
