Gilmer Man Guilty In Smith County Of Aggravated Assaut

A Smith County jury Wednesday convicted a Gilmer man accused of endangering a Smith County Deputy Sheriff. In addition, the court found 34-year-old Joel Lee Gonzales guilty of aggravated assault against a public servant and evading arrest. His sentence is at a later date.
