Gov. Abbott Sued By Own Party Over Early Voting Decision

SomeSome Republicans are asking the Texas Supreme Court to block the state’s expanded early voting period. Early voting was initially scheduled to begin October 19 but is October 13. The GOP members are looking to overturn Gov. Abbott’s executive order, which added six days to the state’s early voting period in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
