Four Sulphur Springs teenagers were arrested by Hopkins County Deputies after they allegedly skipped school, stole an ATV, and several firearms. Authorities recovered all the stolen property. James Wesley Whitworth, II, and Diashawn Jerome Godbolt, both 17, were charged with a third-degree felony, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and remain in the Hopkins County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond. Two other teens were turned over to juvenile probation, but their names not released because of their ages.

A 35-year-old Greenville man surrendered at the Hopkins County Jail on a charge of Theft of Property valued at more than $30,000 but less than $150,000. Jeremy Edward Johnson was released from jail after posting bond.

Officers arrested 42-year-old Matthew Lavon Payne at the EZ-Mart in Sulphur Springs on an FBI warrant for Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person. No other information was released.
