Sulphur Springs Special Crimes Unit officers arrested a local man on a Tarrant County Murder warrant. Officers received word that 24-year-old Keshawn Cardale Sims of Sulphur Springs was in town and arrested him at a residence on Freeman Street. Allegedly Sims intentionally ran over the 17-year-old Arlington man.

Menietto Lateet Crawford

Hopkins County Deputies arrested a 40-year old Tennessee man after an attempted traffic stop and high-speed chase that began near the 142-mile marker of I-30. During the chase with speeds of 100 mph, the suspect threw a backpack out of the car. They stopped and recovered the bag of Menietto Lateet Crawford after exiting at the 125-mile marker. Officers found nearly 16 grams of marijuana and more than 37 grams of cocaine.
