The Department of State Health Services report shows Hopkins County with two new deaths from COVID for five last week. That brings the total fatalities from the virus this year to 13. Meanwhile, Hopkins County-Sulphur Springs Emergency Management reports three new COVID cases and six recoveries. That brings the cumulative total to 381 positives and 297 recoveries. There are now 84 active cases and nine patients hospitalized.
