Hopkins County EMS Issues Statement On COVID-19 Screenings

As of this weekend, at least 31 screenings from Hopkins County have been sent in for testing. None showed positive results. The time from the test to a result takes from 3-7 days for a report, but the turnaround time will soon get shorter. Because of HIPPA laws regulating patient privacy, limited public information will be released about any positive results, but state officials will be immediately notified. Local authorities will also be notified.
