Hopkins County Establishes Homeland Security Department

The Hopkins County Fire Department has established a new department within the department. It is a new Hopkins County Department of Homeland Security that will coordinate various fire department divisions. The Health Authority and Emergency management would also fit under the umbrella of the fire department. More grants will now be available for the county.
