Hopkins County Local State Of Disaster

Hopkins County Judge Robert Newsom issued a Local State of Disaster for the City of Cumby. Since Wednesday, Cumby has had a significant water outage due to multiple breaks in the water lines because of the severe winter weather that included a Wintry Mix and prolonged sub-freezing temperatures. The declaration will aid the city and its residents in obtaining more resources.
