Illegal Immigrant Sentenced For Sexual Assault

East Texas man has been sentenced in Upshur County to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s daughter. 33 year old Gilberto Hernandez Garcia of Kilgore must serve at least half his sentence before being considered for parole and must register as a sex-offender for the rest of his life.  Since he is an illegal immigrant, he will likely be deported after serving his sentence.
