Lamar County Burn Ban Lifted

Lamar County Judge Brandon Bell lifted the outdoor burn ban that had been in place for over a month. Judge Bell also reminded residents to exercise caution when doing any outdoor burning. They lifted the burn bans because of the recent rains, which lowered the KB Drought Index. Delta, Hopkins, Upshur, Bowie, Cass, and Marion are other counties lifting burn bans.
