Lamar County Chamber Of Commerce Hosting Summer Internship Program

We are looking for Chamber businesses that would like to participate in the Summer Internships Program this summer. Maybe your company has a job for incoming Seniors and college students in our area. We will share the information about your positions with possible interns that have filled out their information sheets with the Chamber. The intern will be responsible for applying and getting the job, and there are no requirements for hours or pay. That will be up to each business.

We want to be able to help match up interns with career interests. We will also be working with United Way to help promote a Shadowing Program in August. That will allow a young person to come in and see firsthand for one day what a specific job requires. Please let us know if you would be interested in that as well.
