Lamar County Man Sentenced In Fatal Crash

Landon Kyle Allen pleaded guilty in Lamar County District Court last week to Intoxication manslaughter and Intoxication Assault. Allen had allegedly been drinking when he lost control of his pickup and overturned. It killed one of his passengers and injured the other. The court sentenced him to five years in prison for manslaughter and probation for the assault.
