List Of Clergy Accused Of Child Abuse Include Paris And NE Texas Priests

Catholic church leaders from across Texas have released the names of nearly 300 priests and others who were credibly accused of sexual misconduct. At least two of those named had ties to Northeast Texas.  Father Michael J. Barone served for 11 years at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Paris and had numerous other assignments, including as a chaplain at SMU. He retired last year.  Father Jose Saldana served at St. Elizabeth in Bonham and St. Michael’s in Mt. Pleasant.  He was defrocked in 1998.
