Andy Dalton was back as the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys Sunday as the team beat the Minnesota Vikings by three, 31-28 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Texans got by the Patriots 27-20 and New Orleans Saints did in the Falcons 24-9. Tonight, the Rams take on Tampa Bay.

HIGH SCHOOL 

Lufkin Police arrested Lufkin’s linebacker coach, recruiting coordinator Cameron Blake Davis. They charged Davis with an attempt to obtain controlled substance through fraudulent means, and his bond is $75,000. Friday, Lufkin ISD confirmed Davis’s arrest and that he is no longer with the district. The statement also said Lufkin ISD Police Department would continue to assist with the ongoing investigation.
