Mt Pleasant Coach Remains Hospitalized After Crash

One of the coaches seriously injured in the crash involving the Mt. Pleasant High school track team’s bus remains in ETMC in Tyler. School officials say Coach Van Bowen continues to improve each day. The crash, claimed the life of Mt. Pleasant HS girls track coach Angelica Beard and the driver of the truck that hit her car, which was following a school bus.
