Murder Trials Postponed

Trial dates have been rescheduled for a Quinlan man and a Royse City woman charged with murdering a University Park Fire Department Captain. Jury selection had been scheduled for Monday in Hunt County for 30-year-old Chacey Tyler Poynter and 38-year-old Michael Glen Garza in the death of Poynter’s husband, Robert L. Poynter III. Garza’s trial will begin February 18, but the date for Poynter’s trial has not been set.
