There are some new rules for those seeking unemployment in Texas. The number of Texans sighing up for first-time benefits is now at the lowest level since the start of the pandemic. But, starting this week, those getting a check will have to jump through more hoops. The Texas Workforce Commission is reinstating its work search requirements. Spokesman Cisco Gamez says that they will not waive, even for those at high risk of catching COVID. He says there are over 725-thousand jobs currently available on their website.
