North Lamar ISD Approves Budget

The North Lamar ISD board of trustees approved a deficit budget for the 2024-2025 school year, and they expect to withdraw over $2 million from the fund balance, which is currently over $11.8 million. They expect the board to set a tax rate to support the budget in August or early September when the district receives its certified appraisal values from the Lamar County Appraisal District.
