North Texas Police Officer Sues Training Company

A Sansom Park Police Officer shot during an active shooter exercise six months ago is now suing the company that ran the training. During the practice, Officer Lina Mino was shot in the face by a fellow officer and sued Texas Police Trainers LLC and CEO Janice M. Washington. Shortly after the shooting, authorities told reporters live ammunition was not supposed to be involved in the training.
