Omicron Death Reported In Texas

The Omicron COVID variant is quickly overtaking Delta in Texas. And now, an unvaccinated Harris County man in his 50’s has died from the new COVID mutation. As a result, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo raised the county’s COVID threat level from yellow back to orange. She says the good news is that evidence shows that people vaccinated and boosted will likely avoid being hospitalized if they get the Omicron.
