One person is dead and another is fighting for her life after an East Texas head on collision. Authorities say 62 year old Janie Marie Sawyer was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash near Jefferson. The driver of the other vehicle, 52 year old Nancy Ann McCartan of Lindale was transported to a Longview hospital with life-threatening injuries.
